Our History

Anderson, M.D., CEO, Parkland Health and Hospital System ; Oscar Trevino, Mayor, City of North Richland Hills; Ronald E. Jones, Mayor, City of Garland; Rob Franke, Mayor, City of Cedar Hill; Helen Roberts; David Dean, former Texas Secretary of State; and, Dr. Larry Mercer - Christians in Public Service, Inc. was founded to provide a faith-based forum to teach, encourage and inspire those who serve, lead and govern. And, to provide a safe space for networking without regard to political affiliations.

A New Day. A New Culture.

Post-pandemic, the world changed. America changed. We changed. Divisions grow deeper while relational tensions and external conflict grow wider. Public service and public servant leadership at the local level can be particularly daunting and often draining.

We are building a new culture of leadership, not with more politics and religion but with love, truth, wisdom and guidance rooted in the timeless principles of scripture without religious or political bias. Building not dividing. And our leadership development programming is built upon this.

We lead out of who we are, and we believe there is no greater calling than public servant leadership. Our vision is principled leaders, creating cultures within their spheres of influence, that enhance the growth and well-being of those they serve, lead, and govern. We are thankful to be that unique organization in this unique time in history to lead in this space at local levels around the globe.
